The first step of the audition form covers the legal and practical permissions that go along with sharing private information on the internet.
On the page you will find:
- Audition details that directors can write for each show to set proper expectations
- Cast98 privacy policy that informs users how their information is used when they submit an audition form
- Agreement requires the user to acknowledge that they've read and agree to the terms as outlined
- Talent profile selection prompts the user to choose one of their talent profiles to submit for this audition
Audition Details
The show director defines what to expect at auditions and these details appear in several places to ensure that performers see them, read them, and can reference them easily.

Privacy Policy
The privacy policy is just what it says. Read more about the privacy terms on Cast98.
Agreement
The audition form serves two very important roles within the Cast98 platform:
- Functionally it captures profile information and conflict calendars for directors to use during auditions and rehearsal scheduling
- Legally it ensures that users understand their privacy rights and agree to share their private information with the show directors
The agreement step gives directors peace of mind that every auditionee has given their permission to use their information for the purpose of the show.
Talent Profile Selection
In some rare instances, a user may not have any talent profiles on their account and so they will be prompted to quickly create one.
Everything that follows in the audition form (profile info and conflict calendar) will be saved to the user's talent profile in order to expedite future auditions and to give them control over their information and make updates as needed at any time.
