The conflict calendar is built into all audition forms. The only time it will not appear is if the director has indicated that they only want to capture headshots and bios for the playbill.
The conflict calendar is designed to be very easy to use on a mobile device. Users just touch a day on the calendar to mark a conflict, and touch it again to remove the conflict or write a short description of availability if the conflict is only tentative/not all day.
General Availability
This freeform text input is best used as a means to describe one's permanent recurring availability such as regular work hours, or to describe an expected conflict that has yet to be scheduled such as sports league practices, a family vacation, or a tentative work trip.
🔥 Hot Tip: If you're unsure whether to mark the calendar or use the general availability for a particular conflict or set of conflicts, directors usually prefer to see conflicts marked on the calendar with brief descriptions as needed for context.
