FAQ: Can I Skip Auditions?

In order to view cast resources (like the rehearsal schedule) for a show, performers must appear on the cast list. In order to be added there, they must have their own user account and submit the audition form*. So while you can technically skip auditions, it is not recommended.

*In addition to capturing conflict calendars (so you don't have to manually enter all that), your show's audition form is how performers give permission for directors to view and use their private information. Privacy is paramount.

FAQ: Can I Skip Straight To Scheduling Rehearsals?

You can start adding rehearsals to the schedule right away once you post a show. Create a list of characters and groups in your show and assign them as attendees even without a cast list! But if you need to navigate conflicts, cast members must submit an audition form* which is how you'll capture their conflict calendars. Add them to your cast list to unlock cast resources for them (like the rehearsal schedule).

In addition to capturing conflict calendars (so you don't have to manually enter all that), your show's audition form is how performers give permission for directors to view and use their private information. Privacy is paramount.
