About Granbury Theatre Company

Granbury Theatre Company performs at the beautiful historic Granbury Opera House, which underwent a $3.5 million renovation in 2012 making it a state-of-the-art venue.

GTC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed in 2012.

Our primary focus is producing live musicals and stage plays. Our Broadway on the Brazos season consists of 6-9 productions a year, each running 12 to 24 performances over 3 to 6 weekends. Additionally, we also present live concerts and variety shows throughout the year encompassing a broad range of musical tastes and interests. In 2018, we have something on the Opera House stage for 51 out 52 weekends.

Our mission is to enrich the community with high-quality, family-friendly entertainment that inspires, entertains and informs; to provide volunteer opportunities to community members; and, to offer ongoing education and experience in the performing arts.

Bold & Italics

You can make text italics or make text bold by surrounding it with underscores or double asterisks.

    _italicized text_
    **bold text**

Lists + Paragraphs

Create a bullet list by simply beginning each line with a hyphen (aka "dash") and a space. Numbered lists are similar: begin each line with a digit, dot (aka "period"), and space. Here they are working in tandem with paragraphs:

I've been doing musical theatre for a long time. Here's some of my favorite roles:

    - "Laurie" in _Little Women_, 2015
    - "Chad" in _High School Musical_, 2010
    - "Jimmy" in _Thoroughly Modern Millie_, 2007

Notice that sweet empty line after my list, and also after each paragraph? They are important, as you will see in a moment.

    1. I will eat all your green M&M's.
    2. I never practice at home.
    3. Kissing scenes are the best.

Leave an Empty Line

After every paragraph and list (but NOT after each list item), press Enter twice. An empty line tells Markdown you're starting a new paragraph or list.

Hyperlinks

The text you want to be clickable (like this) is wrapped in square brackets, while the full web address, including the http:// is wrapped in parentheses. There is no space between the closing square bracket and the opening parenthesis, like so:
